Our specialty and most popular activity is clay target shooting, which has been gaining popularity all over the country. And with good reason - it's a fun and addictive sport suitable for shooters of all skill levels.
A Day of Fun
Sporting Clays - The Closest Thing to Actual Field Shooting
Over 90% of our groups choose to participate in our sporting clays packages as it provides a wide range of target options. With 64 machines across 16 stations, six different sizes of clay targets are thrown from different angles and distances, it's an exciting and challenging experience for all. We have course designs ranging in difficulty for rounds of 50, 64, and 100, or you can shoot which ever targets you want on each station. The course is designed to simulate hunting scenarios for various game birds and rabbits, making it a great way for hunters to practice their skills during the off-season.
Trap
Trap is great for beginners, those learning how to shoot, and those who just love shooting trap. It’s a good starting event to warm up before shooting something else as well. On trap, the shooter shoots five birds then moves to the next station shooting 25 birds in total. Five people shoot at a time, with one person shooting per bird.
Skeet
Skeet is a good event to shoot almost any bird you will see on Sporting Clays. On skeet, there are two machines called houses that the birds come out of. A high house and a low house. There are 8 stations on skeet, and everyone takes turns shooting at the same station and then moves on to the next. This event is more challenging than trap but a good event to learn the fundamentals of target shooting and is a favorite of many people.
5-stand
5-Stand is a perfect alternative to Sporting Clays. 5-Stand is just like sporting clays but does not go through the woods. There are 5 stations that each person shoots, like trap, 5 people shooting one at a time. On 5-Stand, 8 machines throw a variety of different birds from different angles, speeds, and distances. This is a good event for when it is cold out because it is near the clubhouse and has a heater near the stations. This is a very fun event to compete with your friends and family.
Our experienced staff will guide you through the course and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. You can rent guns if needed and ammo is available for purchase as well.
